#1 – NOTE: The new Compliance form asks if you track member compliance with Code of Ethics training and then they also ask you to enter information into a box detailing how you verify that compliance. The NRDS database is the easiest tool to use to track compliance for your members. You can even pull a roster from NRDS that will show you if a Code of Ethics course has been completed for each member or not, so you’ll know which members still need to complete the training. Just an FYI, the Mississippi REALTORS® Institute uploads information into NRDS for any REALTORS® that take a Code of Ethics class from MRI. Professional Standards training and Broker B courses have Code of Ethics components and also meet the criteria for Code of Ethics training, so students in those classes are entered by MRI into NRDS as well. If your members take the online Code of Ethics course available at https://nar.realtor, their completion is entered by NAR into NRDS. If your members take Code of Ethics from a provider other than MRI or NAR, they need to give you documentation of that completion and you will need to manually enter that information into NRDS (each member’s record has a link to “Add Education Record” in the task bar on the left side of the screen).
